I Obstetrics and gynaecology case and commentaries

Abstract

This dissertation is submitted in partial fulfillment for the award of the degree of Masters of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology of the University of Dar es Salaam. It comprises of three sections. Section one and two consist of Ten Gynaecological and Ten Obstetrics conditions which are encountered in the practice of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Commentary on the presented patients appear at the end of each case. Section three is a clinical audit done for five months on poor obstetric outcome and associated factors among adolescent mothers at Muhimbili Medical Center. A statistical significant association was found between poor antenatal and intra-natal care and poor obstetric outcome.
