Abstract:
This dissertation confonns to the
requirments for the award of the degree of
Master of Medicine :in Surgery according to
the regulations of the Thliversity of Dar es Salaam •
It consists of ten surgical conditions seen
and partly or mtirely managed by the author.
It has been divided into four parts. The first
part consists of five general surgical conditions,
While the second part one pediatric condition •
TIle third part consists of two urological
conditions While the fourth, two or-thopaeddc
and trauma conditions.
A typical case is presented for each
condition:o Literature is reviewed and current
concepts, opinions, and treatment is prescnte
fbllowed by relevant discussion.
